I love exploring photography and capturing single moments in time that may never happen again. I have included some of my favorite pictures from my past. They all bring memories flooding back to my mind when I recap the experiences that I had taking them. When I first started taking pictures, I thought I would enjoy portrait photography and candids of people, but I have come to understand that I am typically drawn to the environment that is around me. The things that we see everyday but may not take the time to look at them or see the beauty that they poses. Each of these pictures had slight edits that I did in PhotoShop. I adjusted levels and the color slightly.

  1. The artist painting the picture "painter" is my favorite one of yours, the black background complements the deep thought process the painter looks like he is in.

  2. I love the temple picture. Could you share more detail on how you edited it?

  3. I too adore the temple picture. The complimentary colors orange & green make for a magnificent photo!

  4. The temple picture is amazing :) You must have taken it last semester when the sky was like orange?? I went up to the temple to take pictures too. I love your view of it tho! I also enjoy the baseball and broken window pictures. Great "blurring" on the baseball one. How did you do that?

  5. Thanks for the feedback! The temple shot was done on the day of the INL fire which made for some excellent lighting. I didn't do much editing to it, except for making it a little less muddy, by simply and slightly adjusting the levels. The colors were so beautiful already that I didn't want to ruin what I naturally had. The blur on the baseball photo was all done with my camera and the settings that I had it on.
